1. Introduction

Welcome to Thirteen Oh Eight Events. We are committed to providing elegant experiences. To ensure a smooth process and mutual protection, please review our policies and procedures below. By booking or entering into an agreement with Thirteen Oh Eight Events, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

2. Booking & Payments

  1. Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. $100 of your initial deposit may be returned if there aren’t any breaches in contract. If your rate is promotional, no deposit will be returned.

  2. Final Balance: The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event.

  3. Accepted Payments: Credit/debit cards, or invoiced payments are accepted. Other forms of acceptable payments may be discussed.

  4. Late Payments: May result in loss of date or cancellation without refund.

3. Decor-Only Services Clause

When booking decor-only services, Thirteen Oh Eight Events provides design, décor setup, and styling at the client’s chosen venue.

Please note:

We are not responsible for venue-related conditions (power outages, lighting, seating arrangements, or venue staff performance).

The client must secure proper venue access and setup/breakdown times in writing.

Any delays or denials of access may result in reduced setup time without refund.

If décor must be removed immediately following the event, the client is responsible for communicating and confirming with venue staff.

Thirteen Oh Eight Events is not responsible for lost or damaged décor items once the event begins.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

Ensuring timely access to the event location.

Securing all necessary permits, venue agreements, and insurance where required.

Providing accurate setup details, including theme, color palette, and floor plan, no later than 30 days before the event date.

Protecting Thirteen Oh Eight property (furniture, backdrops, and décor). Damaged or missing items will incur a replacement fee.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all payments made.

Events may be rescheduled once (based on availability) if notice is given at least 21 days in advance.

Rescheduled dates must fall within 6 months of the original date.

6. Weather, Emergencies & Unforeseen Circumstances

For outdoor events, clients are responsible for securing tents, coverings, or alternate arrangements.

Thirteen Oh Eight Events is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by severe weather, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.

If an event must be postponed due to emergencies, we will make every effort to accommodate a new date.

7. Liability & Insurance

Thirteen Oh Eight Events assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damages to persons or property occurring before, during, or after an event.

Clients are encouraged to obtain event insurance for additional protection.

Thirteen Oh Eight staff will handle all décor with care, but liability for venue property lies solely with the client.

8. Safety & Compliance

All décor materials used are selected to meet safety standards.

Open flames, confetti, or glitter may be prohibited in certain venues. Please confirm venue regulations in advance.

Thirteen Oh Eight reserves the right to refuse setup if the space is unsafe or violates fire/safety codes.

9. Photos, Marketing & Content

Thirteen Oh Eight Events reserves the right to photograph or record event setups for marketing, social media, or portfolio purposes.

Clients may opt out in writing at least 48 hours prior to their event.

10. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy. All client information, including contact details and event specifics, will remain confidential and will not be shared or sold to third parties.

11. Communication Policy

All communication should occur via official email (contact@1308venue.com) or phone (813.403.2049).

We kindly ask that clients allow up to 48 business hours for replies.

Texts and social media DMs are not considered official communication channels.

12. Website & Service Disclaimer

Thirteen Oh Eight Events is currently relocating to a new venue. Decor and mobile event styling services remain fully operational during this transition.

Our website may periodically show “Under Construction” or “New Location Coming Soon” while updates are completed.

13. Agreement Acknowledgment

By booking Thirteen Oh Eight Events, clients agree to adhere to all listed policies and procedures.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation or denial of services without refund.
